About the Fair

Known area-wide for fabulous food, fun for all ages, and great entertainment, the fair features the best of our old-fashioned fair activities.

Country Fair Quilt

The most visible continuing tradition is the raffle of a hand-made quilt -- for more than 50 years, members of the community have created individual squares and blended their craftsmanship into a magnificent remembrance of the Kingsbury fair.

Activities

Inflatables, challenge courses, slides and activities are fun for all ages! Climb the 35 foot rock wall, slide, scurry, crawl and jump through a wide range of "too much fun" inflatable attractions. Jump on one of our trampoline jumpers or play in the Tumblebus. Sit back and enjoy our talent show. Show off your vocal skills on our karaoke stage. Get your face painted and your cheeks, arms or ankles tattooed (temporarily) -- all at the fair!

Check out the cars and vehicles at our car show including a Lapeer County Road Commission road grader and snow plow. The Addison Township Fire Department will also be on the scene with their smoke house where kids can learn fire survival skills.

Food & Beverage

We'll have hot dogs and hamburgers as well as the traditional cotton candy and sno cones! Adults will also want to stop by our pub tent with beer, wine, and sangria.

Famous Strawberry Shortcake

We can't have a fair without Kingsbury's famous recipe strawberry shortcake. It's always the fair favorite!

Bake Walk and Sale

Join in the fun, do the musical "bake walk" or just stop by to purchase some home made goodies created by our phenomenal parents and alum mums.

Silent Auction

There will be a wonderful selection of things that you "just can't live without."

Artisans

Coming from all over southeast Michigan, the Kingsbury Country Fair artisans represent all disciplines - highlight for each year is the Diebboll family, renowned potters from Washington, Michigan.

Plants and Landscaping Items

Garden shops with beautiful hanging baskets, planters, etc. are a highlight of the shopping area.

Chicken Bingo

Place your bets, folks, if you own the square on the grid where the chicken poops first when she is turned into the pen -- you win $$$! This is a 50/50 drawing every hour on the hour.
