It's coming! It's coming! Tell your friends, family, and neighbors. This is one event you don't want to miss. It's a Kingsbury tradition that delivers. Spend the afternoon with us and you're sure to leave with a smile. You'll have great memories, a full belly, some newly acquired treasures, and you might even leave with thousands of dollars in your pocket if you win the Pot-of-Gold Raffle!
This 50/50 raffle only costs $10 per ticket, but could pay off big. Tickets are available now and through the day of the fair. The winning ticket will be drawn at 5 p.m.
Showcase your singing talent by becoming a contestant in the K-Factor contest. A cash prize will be awarded for first place. All ages are welcome to participate. A $20 entry fee is required. Contact Tina at kfactor@kingsburyschool.org for more information.
This year's twin-size masterpiece has been created by alum mum and fabric artist extraordinaire, Betsy Stephanic. This one-of-a-kind heirloom has unique historical value, because fabrics used to make past Kingsbury quilts have been integrated into the whimsical red, white, and black pinwheel design.
When the weather turns chilly, it will be the perfect reminder of summer days and the warmth of the Kingsbury community. There is only one way to make the quilt your own however; buy a ticket! Increase your chances by purchasing at least a few. Tickets will be available on fair day and in the school office for $4 each.
Mmm. Pie. What could be better? How about getting paid a cash prize if you eat yours the fastest? Easy as pie you say? Here's the catch – no hands allowed.
No entry fee is required. Only eight people will be allowed to participate. First come, first serve. Call the office or stop by to get your name on the list.
There will be something for everyone! Geocaching, horseshoes, pony rides, inflatables, a petting zoo, old-fashioned games, a nature station, facepainting and more!
Sweet temptations like old-fashioned strawberry shortcake, sno-cones, and cotton candy will be available to satisfy your cravings, as well as heartier fare such as pulled pork sandwiches, burgers, and hot dogs.
For $8, pre-order a meal in advance, to know that lunch is all taken care of. (You'll get a sandwich, coleslaw, chips, a cookie, and a bottled water.) The meal price will be $9 the day of the fair.
For those of age, beer and wine will be available at the pub tent.
Artists, crafters, and other vendors will be on site to offer you products to beautify your space, fulfill a need, or give as the perfect gift. If you are interested in reserving a space for your business, contact Don Phillips at (810)798-3268, phillipsdond@gmail.com, or the school office at (248)628-2571, before May 15th.
Place your bets folks. If you own the square the chicken poops on when she is placed on the designated grid, you win half the money collected! The other half benefits KCDS.
At 2 p.m. in the Justin A. Swartz Center, we will have a brief tribute to remember our 60-year history and celebrate the many individuals who have been a part of the Kingsbury tradition.
Check out both the selection for the silent auction and the live auction at the fair to get great deals on unique items, and support Kingsbury at the same time. Some items may be available to preview online, shortly before the fair date.
