Join us Sunday, June 1st, 2008, 12-6 PM at Kingsbury Country Day School (map) for sun, fun, friends, and to support Kingsbury!
Interested in exhibiting at the Kingsbury Country Fair? Artisans and crafters are welcome - greenhouses and florists as well!
Known area-wide for fabulous food, fun for all ages, and great entertainment, the fair features the best of our old-fashioned fair activities.
The raffling of a hand-made quilt is a continuing Kingsbury Country Fair tradition. This year's quilt returns to a traditional schoolhouse design. Chairs Francie Diebboll and Betsy Stephanic, both Alum Mums, are guiding a group of current moms in hand appliqueing squares. Tickets are $3 each, 3 for $5 and a sheet of ten for $25.

Inflatables, challenge courses, slides and activities are fun for all ages! Climb the 35 foot rock wall, slap shot or pitch at laser-recorded speeds in the cages, slide, scurry, crawl and jump through a wide range of "too much fun" inflatable attractions. Join the crowd at the dunk tank and sink coaches, teachers and administrators. Get your face painted, your cheeks, arms or ankles tattooed (temporarily)and your hair "decorated" -- all at the fair.
Area restaurants provide mouth-watering selections. Fresh and Healthy, Southwest, Traditional...as well as the traditional Hot Dogs and Pizza -- we have it all!!
We can't have a fair without Kingsbury's famous recipe strawberry shortcake. It's always the fair favorite!
Join in the fun, do the musical "bake walk" or just stop by to purchase some home made goodies created by our phenomenal parents and alum mums.
There will be a wonderful selection of things that you "just can't live without."
Coming from all over southeast Michigan, the Kingsbury Country Fair artisans represent all disciplines - highlight for each year is the Diebboll family, renowned potters from Washington, Michigan.
Garden shops with beautiful hanging baskets, planters, etc. are a highlight of the shopping area.
The very best of "Bluesy Rock" from live band Mule Drive highlights the entertainment this year. And there is always a clown or two with balloon art and fun!
Place your bets, folks, if you own the square on the grid where the pony poops first when she is turned into the pen -- you win $$$!
CLOWNS, BALLOONS, ICE CREAM, CANDY, EVERYTHING YOU'D EXPECT FOR GOOD OLD-FASHIONED FUN AT THE ANNUAL KINGSBURY COUNTRY FAIR!
