Location: Addison Oaks Conference Center
Kingsbury, an independent school with a mission to develop lifelong learners, a bias for protecting our environment and a history of service to others less fortunate, has made a unique and special commitment to our community. As a non-profit we rely on the generosity of that same community to help support our extraordinary school. Our bi-annual auction is our major fundraiser and an integral part of ensuring a financially healthy future for Kingsbury.
For 2010, the auction will be an internationally themed event that will spotlight Kingsbury’s linkages to the world. It will underscore how our International Baccalaureate certified Primary Years Program prepares our students to be successful in an increasingly global arena. It will spotlight the way the Kingsbury community participates and helps to preserve our world via our various local and international service projects and green initiatives.
With its internationally themed menu, entertainment, decorations and auction item tie-ins, the event promises to be both unforgettable and beneficial to Kingsbury. Over 250 parents, friends, community and business leaders will attend this festive evening with an opportunity to bid on over 200 unique items in our live and silent auctions. There will be several raffle drawings offering fantastic vacations and rare gemstones. The ticket price for the 2010 Auction has been set at just $75.00 – a real value considering the significance of the evening.
A successful auction depends upon the benevolence and contributions of those willing to support our school. Please consider donating a gift item, gift certificate, check or any other combination of services or activities that may be auctioned during this special event. We also welcome your generous use of our auction program book for your advertisement.
You and your business will receive recognition in our program and your name and/or company will be directly attached to the item in the silent auction or announced by our auctioneer during the live auction. In addition, we list all contributing companies in our Kingsbury Directory in order to promote contributors’ products/services within the Kingsbury community. An added value to your contribution is that the parents, family and friends of our school community are encouraged to patronize the businesses that support Kingsbury School.
Funds raised from this exciting evening will be used to support Kingsbury’s investment as an International Baccalaureate (IB) World school, update Kingsbury’s technology equipment, and further advance faculty and curriculum enrichment. Funds will also support an outreach program for the school.
Kingsbury School is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization. Contributions are tax-deductible; a tax receipt will be forwarded to you for your records. We truly appreciate your consideration of support for the 2010 Auction. We hope that you will attend and enjoy a fantastic evening with your friends from Kingsbury.
