KCDS is offering two exciting camp sessions designed specifically for children who will be in Junior Kindergarten through Third Grade in Fall, 2008. Our camp is science-based with many hands-on activities that will be sure to inspire the campers. The camp is a superb introduction to the day camp experience for boys and girls who enjoy exploring the environment around them. Books and stories, arts and crafts, singing, cooking, dance, experiments and nature walks will help your child discover, explore and experience science in a variety of ways. In addition, there is lots of traditional camp fun to top off the experience with field trips and beach/water park adventures highlighting the week's activities.
Junior Explorer Camp is housed in the Kingsbury Lower School building located at the corner of Oakwood and Hosner Roads, Oxford. Each day begins at 9 a.m. and concludes at 3 p.m. Before and After Care programs are available. The 125 acre campus is rich in diverse ecosystems. Facilities include playgrounds, ponds, wooded areas, meadows and miles of nature trails.
Camp is open to ALL children.
Campers should bring a healthy snack, lunch and refillable water bottle daily. Appropriate clothing and sunscreen is necessary. Please label all of your campers items. Special lunches are available on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Fridays are waterpark or beach days.
