Kingsbury offers a variety of camps every summer to help athletes learn and develop their skills. Professional organizations are brought in to provide the very best athletic programs while offering a fun atmosphere for campers.

Rockers Soccer Camp, June 21-25, 2010
"Soccer Fun in the Sun" is the theme for our 2010 Summer Camps. Our qualified instructors, professional and college players, are eager to share their knowledge of the game with a new generation of soccer players. Camps are designed for boys & girls of all skill levels. In this fun but challenging camp, players learn how to develop individual techniques (dribbling, passing, shooting, ball control) and team strategy. You will play a World Cup Tournament on the last day of camp. Participants will receive a soccer ball. Bring plenty of water, sunscreen, a snack, and shin guards. In bad weather, the decision to go indoors or cancel is made at the fields.

Sportz All-Starz Basketball Camp, June 21-25, 2010
Learn basketball from the professionals from at Sportz All-Starz. Skills, drills and special challenges abound in this camp for the young basketball star. Our Motto: Every child will leave camp a better, more fundamentally sound player then when they arrived!

All-American Lacrosse Camp, June 28-July 2, 2010
The fastest sport on two feet arrives at Kingsbury! All-American Lacrosse brings college lacrosse players from across the country to teach the skills of America’s oldest sport - catching, throwing, shooting, cradling, scooping and dodging. Participants should be prepared to provide their own equipment.

"The Winning Edge" Sports Training Camp, July 12-16 and July 19-23, 2010
Campers will work with a certified personal trainer and a professional chef to optimize their health and fitness while having fun! The camp is your child’s guide to performance through proper eating and physical training. Kingsbury’s 125 acres of woods, trails, fields and streams, along with the beautiful Justin A. Schwartz center for athletics, provide the perfect venues for cross-training fun and fitness. In addition, campers will learn to prepare and taste-test great pre- and post-event meals for athletes. Winning Edge campers will create personalized journal filled with recipes, meal plans and a customized workout program tailored specifically to their individual needs.

Playing Lessons With the Golf Coach, July 26-30, 2010
Join Coach Lumsden for a round of golf at one of our beautiful area courses. We will meet at the course where you will get tips and instruction on course etiquette, club selection, proper swing, proper grip, the rules of golf, scoring, and how to play a better round of golf. Coach Lumsden is not a golf professional, but has 30 years of experience playing the game and 3 years experience coaching at the high school level. Tuition includes greens fees and range balls where available. All campers should have access to golf clubs, and should have a basic knowledge of the game and how it is played. Proper golf attire is required. All course rules apply. Campers under the age of 16 will walk the course unless accompanied by an adult. Club rental and pull carts are available for an extra charge.

Beginners Golf Clinic, July 26-30, 2010
This camp is open to anyone interested in learning to golf. Join Coach Lumsden at Kingsbury School to work on the basics of golf. Starting with proper grip, swing, and set-up, you will learn what it takes to hit the links. Lessons will take place on the Kingsbury campus and will culminate with a round of nine holes of golf at Mulberry Hills Golf Course on Friday. Clubs will be available for instruction, and rental clubs will be available at the course. Tuition includes all greens fees and range balls when necessary.
