Overview
Kingsbury Country Day School fosters a love of learning in its students. Candidates for admission are admitted on the basis of personal interviews, school transcripts, aptitude or academic testing and classroom evaluations.
Kingsbury Country Day School accepts qualified students without regard to religion, ethnic origin, gender or race.
Application Process
Tour of School
This is the first step in the Admission Process. Please contact Audrey Smith-Dibble in the Admission Office for information on Open Houses, or to request a private tour.
Application and Fee
Complete the Application Form and return it to the Admission Office with a non-refundable $100.00 fee. An authorized Transcript Release Form must be submitted to your child's present school. That school will forward photocopies of your child's transcripts to Kingsbury for review.
Student Visit
All applicants for grades 1-8 are encouraged to visit the school while class is in progress. Evaluations and testing will be performed at that time. An informal readiness evaluation for students entering Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten will be administered while children visit the classroom for one day.
After completing the required information, the Admission Office will review the material submitted for admission consideration.
