Kingsbury Kids in the Technology Lab

The use of technology is basic to success in life as well as in the Kingsbury curriculum. The use of technology is integrated with the curriculum at all grade levels.

Grades K-8 work regularly in the computer lab and all classrooms have computers. Additionally, the ratio of students to computers is less than 2 students per computer.

In Junior Kindergarten, basic functions such as printing, use of the mouse, Kid Pix, etc. are introduced.

By grade 3 Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, as well as Internet research are part of the curriculum. Grade 4 brings the use of Excel and graphing techniques.

By grade 8, Kingsbury Kids are confident and competent users of desktop publishing programs, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and can do mid-level troubleshooting and advanced Internet research.
