Kingsbury's Head of School, Gil Webb

Mr. Webb comes to Kingsbury Country Day School with a distinguished background in independent education. He has served as Head of School at the Carolina Day School in Asheville, NC. Webb held several positions at Charlotte Country Day School, Charlotte, NC., serving as Associate Head, Head of the Middle School, Head of the Upper School, Admissions Director and Science Teacher during his tenures there. He has also served as Middle School Director at the Hawken School in Lyndhurst, OH, Head of the Middle School at the Allen-Stevenson School in NY, NY and Head of Middle School and Science Teacher at Durham Academy in Durham, NC.

He received his MA in Educational Administration from Columbia University and his BS in Elementary Education from Pennsylvania State University.

Gil and his wife, Betsy, make their homes in Oxford and Glen Lake, Michigan.
