Philosophy

On Her Profession

My goal as a math techer is to encourage students to keep trying until they find a solution. I feel that this practice is one that can be utilized in all aspects of one's life. A main focus of the math program will be allowing students to help one another seek solutions by working collectively in a peer-tutorimg fashion. Working together adds excitement and fun to the classroom. The SMART board is an amazing learning tool, it plays an integral role in all lessons.

On Kingsbury

As a new Kingsbury teacher -- and also a new Kingsbury parent -- I look forward to getting involved with the school community. I firmly believe in independent schools. I attended independent elementary and high schools and am aware of the many opportunities that are available to students who grow up in an environment like Kingsbury's.
