Philosophy

On Her Profession

My goal as a science teacher is to inspire every student to love science and discovery. At Kingsbury, we have developed an inquiry-based program that allows for experiential learning. Sixth graders focus on earth science, seventh graders concentrate on life science, and eighth graders study physical science. All classes collaborate with the school's environmental studies program.

On Kingsbury

Kingsbury is a science teacher's dream. The country setting and small class sizes make my job a pleasure. As for the Kingsbury staff, I couldn't ask to be a part of a more dynamic educational community. Everyone - staff, students and parents -contributes to a positive learning environment.

On Kingsbury Kids

The students greet me daily with enthusiasm and wonderful attitudes towards learning. Along with their excitement, they are also respectful of one another.

Bio

Before coming to Kingsbury, taught one semester of eighth grade pre-algebra and algebra and one semester of sixth grade science at Oakview Middle School in Lake Orion. Annette joined the Kingsbury team in the fall of 2004, teaching middle school science and pre-algebra.
